This past month has been something else guys!

It was the busiest month in the fashion industry for sure. Fashion month is when models, designers, editors, influencers, and many other inspirational people all come together to collaborate & showcase the very best of the best. I have been following along on PFW & MFW for the past weeks too. (If I am not left speechless) all I can say  is wow wow WOW

TREND ALERT: The suits are back! The white suit in particular was all over the runway and definitely a favorite for this season

Attending New York Fashion Week has honestly been a dream of mine from the very beginning. How amazing that I can officially say I’ve ticked it off my list?! I am honestly still stunned at how quickly it went… kinda like when you plan a New Year’s Eve event/outfit and time runs away with you (only NYFW was waaaay more extravagant, stunning, and basically met my life-time goals)

I really got to experience so much creativity around me that I couldn’t help but dress for the occasion. And while I show you 4 of my favorite street style looks that I sported during fashion week, take a look at some of the quick snaps I took of the runway presentations…

Claudia Li Presentation

I absolutely adore this structured but no-so-structured vibe going on in Claudia Li’s presentation. The Display of the clothes and models was just too charming.

Outfit 1

Keeping it simple with clean lines & a sleek pony.
These pants are by far a fave. They just accentuate my waist which really ties in that hourglass silhouette. These black beauties are Balmain.

I added some simple black heels & sprinkled my outfit with gold accessories.  For my bag, I went the classic route with a simply elegant Gucci.

Not sure if you guys saw my Insta story but (my bestie and other half of me) Jenna also happened to be in town during fashion week. Having her experience the fashion extravaganza with me was the absolute best! Really couldn’t have asked for a better partner in crime.

TREND ALERT: Another trend I absolutely loved is the Asymmetric Necklines. Maybe I should do a “from the runway to your wardrobe” post. What do you guys think?

So this was defs more of a laid-back look.  Day 5 of fashion week… all I remember, aside from the shows I experienced, were my poor little feet absolutely killing me. Beauty is pain I guess haha… which also gives me an excuse to book that spa day.

Something I learned about fashion week: you really don’t need to be dressed to the nines aaall the time. It’s okay to have those more casual streetwear vibes. Just as long as you can pair things up in a way that moves far far away from ‘army pants and flipflops’.

I wore this look to a few presentations that day. Absolutely love the tiered sleeves on this sweater. And the off-the-shoulder vibe is also totally fall-friendly.

My white leather mini, metallic magic boots & backpack, and a sleek hairstyle once again (the perfect partner!)

 Jarel Zhang Presentation

One of my best shows I got see… how cool is the set up on the runway?!

Outfit 3

I sported this look to a day-time show and an evening event. A lil more riskkkkyyy you could say, but this sheer lace bodysuit is daring AND dainty. Thought this was totally appropriate as FW is really all about experimenting and making a bold statement.

Paired it with some Payton boots, a purple duster, the famous Baker boy  hat & a black belted mini.

Outfit 4

And although I didn’t wear this street look to any shows or presentations, I wanted to share it with you guys. It was in-between the FW madness. This was a little look I quickly put together after a show. So comfy for a little downtime. And taking Jen to see the Brooklyn Bridge was just the perfect opportunity for some snaps in the sunset.

I wore these high waisted wide leg jeans, with a lace crop bralette, a leather jacket and a pop of red in these cute satin sneakers. There’s never a dull moment with a playful bag in sight.
